Can anyone tell me why the following code fragment yields a blank string for the msg format? AMI v1.2.3 (c++), MQ 5.2.1. I checked the msg before retriving it from the queue and the format is "MQRFH". If I send a msg of format "MQSTR" this code returns the expected value.

myReceiveMsg.getFormat().text()
