Hello Everyone,
I am using IIB v10.0.5 and working with TCPIP client nodes.We have set the minimum connection property to '1' in the configurable service(this is a mandatory requirement by our Architect), so I believe as soon as the flow is deployed, execution group/TCP connection manager will try to create at least one connection with TCP Server.
Now my problem is when the TCP Server is down, IIB TCP nodes/connection manager should have some retry mechanism with time intervals in place, instead of continuously trying to create connection with TCP Server.
If the issue is at node level, then I thought of writing some logic to the failure terminal of the TCPClient output node so that flow can retry TCP output message again, but this seems to at the execution group/connection manager level(i.e even though there are no messages, exg group/connection manager trying to create connection) and am not sure how to implement retry here...
Also other properties are set as below
Close connection = No
Output stream/Input Stream = Leave unchanged
AlternativeAddresses=''
CloseWithUnprocessedData='false'
ExpireConnectionSec='-1'
Hostname='192.xxx.xx.xx'
MaxReceiveRecordBytes='100000000'
MaximumConnections='1'
MinimumConnections='1'
Port='2004'
SO_KEEPALIVE='false'
SO_LINGER='false'
SO_LINGER_TIMEOUT_SEC='-1'
SO_RCVBUF='0'
SO_SNDBUF='0'
SSLCiphers=''
SSLProtocol=''
TCP_NODELAY='true'
TrafficClass='-1'
UseUniqueConnectionPool='false'
I have gone through infocenter and other posts but nothing conclusive...
Can anyone help with this scenario..
