Hi,
I am trying migrate the project based on MQ which I don't have enough knowledge.
I have windows service project which is running on Framework: 2.0 and deployed on Windows 2003 server.
Here are the details from the properties window within the project about the Dll that has been used as it is receiving Messages from a vendor using MQ.
Dll Name: amqmdnet
Description: Web Sphere MQ Classes for .NET
Runtime Version: v1.1.4322
Version: 1.0.0.3
When we tried to copy this project windows 2012 and tried to run the project/windows service; we got the error on a pop up message box.
The installed MQ client running on windows 2003 server is version 6.0 and the version running on windows 2012
server is 7.5. This windows service application calls the amqmdnet.dll to make connection to MQ with connections
settings listed in application's config such as below But the service fails with above message.
Input Queue
Output Queue
Queue Manager
Channel Definition
etc etc etc
Error Message:
The XYZ Service on local computer started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they are not in use by other services or programs
Version 6.0 Client cannot be installed on win 2012 server as it has reached end of life support by IBM.
How the project can be fixed. Any help is highly appreciated.

You need to use the MQ V 7.5 version of amqmdnet.dll.
If the client is not installed on you machine you need to install the client.
The client is free.
If the machine is a server machine, request the installation be reviewed and installed as custom. The client and messaging service applications need to be installed.
You should find it in <MQinstallpath>\bin\amqmdnet.dll
