Hi Team,

As far as I can tell when we create a BAR from an Application, it is NOT possible in the toolkit to remove any of the resources that are included (i.e. the checkbox for each resource is 'greyed out') unlike in message flow projects.

Are there any advantages of using application than message flow project except for the organizing of the files into folders to clear ambiguity?

Is there any fixpack released to overcome this? If yes, please let me know.

Thanks in advance.

I think it would be helpful to understand why you feel you need to remove resources that are automatically added to the BAR for Applications which are grouping all the resources and providing development and runtime isolation etc, enabling easier development and runtime management at a integration solution level.

What resource do you want to remove?

What problem does having this resource deployed cause?

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.

There are 5 different services(flows) in application. If there is a change in a single service, we are not able to deploy only the service which is changed, but instead we have to deploy the whole application even though there are no changes in other services(flows).

Is there any advantage of using application over message flow project in performance perspective?

Thanks,
Santhi M

If you wish to manage the services separately why are you grouping them all in a single Application?

If there are resources that you want to reuse in each application consider using a Shared libraries for those, each Application using the library can be deployed independently.
