A remote queue is not a queue but a pointer to a local queue on another queue manager. You can not read (MQGET) messages from a remote queue, only insert (MQPUT) them. Therefore there is no concept of "number of messages on a remote queue. |

But, In the WebSphere MQ Browser. The number of message in remote queue can show in the channel. Does any method in MQSeries can do something like channel? |

1. You can try monitor om XMitQ by parameter Queue name and QMgr name which same with defined in your remote Q.
2. You can create XMitQ and channel dedicated to current remote Q and monitor on it. _________________ Best regards.
