| WebSphereMQ has two API libraries: Server side, and client side. Both support the same exact calls, but offer slightly different functionality, is there any specific API differences? |

Please take a look at Part 2 of MQSeries Application Programming Reference manual. They have listed down the restrictions of each call for Client/Server applications.
