Hello Experts ,

I am having a gateway flow which never remains idle . It uses ODBC connection pool . Now i am facing an issue that the getway flow is not getting connction object and giving error ora-02396 exceeded maximum idle time exceeded . Then i have invedtigated and came to know that i have to increase the connection idle time in oracle profile . Can you anyone suggest how to resolve this issue from broker end .

If an ODBC connection fails, IIB should reconnect on the next use of the ODBC data source.

It will still provide an error to the flow that is trying to use the ODBC connection.

You can use IIB try/catch blocks (which aren't named that) to retry database operations in the same flow, instead of having to wait for the flow to terminate and start again.
