I have a strange problem that when i try to invoke a oracle procedure from iib v9 broker i'm facing below issue.

We have around 30 execution groups, all the flows in the all execution groups are able to connect to DB except few flows in one execution group. ALL execution groups are using same DSN.

can any one help me out of this problem.

broker is in AIX server.

Are your Oracle DBA's limiting connections from a single source?
What do the DBA's say on this error?
As the text say, it is a network error. That leads me to think that some limit is being reached somewhere.

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions.

Hi All,

We are stucked with the same problem.
Problem is recreated on IIB 9.0.0.5, 9.0.0.6, 9.0.0.8 (AIX) with Oracle DB 12c on RedHat.

Has anyone found a solution?

Most likely this is not a network error. It appears only when a certain procedure is called with certain parameters.

Ok. So there's your problem.

Make a mock stored procedure that accepts those parameters and returns constant values.

If that doesn't work, then revisit your ODBC datasource, and all the documentation on calling Oracle Stored Procedures.

If you still can't make it work, open an APAR.

I don't know if Broker v9 still uses the DataDirect oracle driver. If it does, you can dig up the documents from DataDirect on that, and install a real Oracle Driver and configure the DataDirect driver to use that.

It's unsupported to do that, though.
