Got an unusual problem.
We have been upgrading our V7 queue managers and brokers to V8.
All of the upgrades have been successful, but on one machine, the MQ Explorer instance will not display the local broker.
After some investigating, it turns out, they recreated a queue manager rather than resolve an issue during the upgrade. This caused CHLAUTH issues when trying to perform broker communications with that queue manager. Now that I have resolved that issue, I'd like to get the MQ explorer to display the broker properly. [I don't really want to have to use command line interfaces for the rest of the life of that system].
I'm hoping there is either a batch file or a command line option that will force the broker to regenerate the necessary infrastructure for the MQ Explorer eclipse environment to see and interact with the broker.
Any suggestions?

after you resolved the problem with the qmgr, did you try bouncing the MBExplorer? _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

I believe I bounced the queue manager, but I did not bounce MBExplorer. In fact, it wouldn't surprise me if that install (MBExplorer) failed. Thanks for the suggestion.

You'll need to install the IIB explorer plugin (at least the link file) into the new MQExplorer location. _________________ chmod -R ugo-wx / |
