All,
I am calling a SOAP Service hosted on DEVenvironment over HTTPS(with a self signed Cert) from a SOAPRequest from local IIB toolkit.
I am getting javax.net.ssl.SSLException: java.lang.RuntimeException: Unexpected error: java.security.InvalidAlgorithmParameterException: the trustAnchors parameter must be non-empty exception
A Web Service request has detected a SOCKET error whilst invoking a web service located at host &1, on port &2, on path &3
Can you please tell me what an I doing wrong as part of the call. I can make the call on http from the flow it works fine.
Thanks |

The SSL set up is wrong.
I would theorize that the service you're calling doesn't like (trust) your self signed certificate. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

The service I published to my Development IIB is getting consumed by a .NET client fine.
SOAP UI is able to call the service as well.
Self signed certificate is internally trusted by the enterprise CA and I am not passing in the Cert and I am calling.
So What else I need to do ?
Thanks |

So your narrative is:
Quote: |
I switched from http to https and the connection is now failing.
What should I do |
Our answer analyze why it is failing. You did not specify any of the SSL setup, you did not specify any of the key sizes, of the algorithms and of the troubleshooting to be done... or that you did.

These are words with little technical meaning... i.e. I hear bla bla bla.
Please be a lot more technical and specific.
Have fun _________________ MQ & Broker admin |
