Hi,
i have some confusions around data & logs space calculations. We have QM which is acting as Hub (pass through with few alias queues) and connected to few application QMs. I was told that one of the application can be down for two days and the Hub QM should be sized so that clusters transmission queues can hold all the messages and sent over app QM when its available. The question i have do i need to increase /var/mqm/qmgrs/Hub or /var/mqm/log/Hub or both?

Probably both. Check if the messages are persistent. If they are be sure to plan for the space in the Data directory and in the log directory. _________________ MQ & Broker admin
If you're going to use the MQ built in support for media recovery, implying linear logging, then you'll need space in both the Qmgr data and log file systems. If you don't intend to depend upon MQ for media recovery (circular logging) then you'll only need the full capacity in the data directory.
