Hi all!!

While creating sender-rcvr channel pair, Is it necessary that both the queue manager should be at same version.

I want to connect a v8 queue manager to v7.5 queue manager. Will this channel work without any issue? Or do I need to make any changes to make this connection work ?

Location: Somewhere over the Rainbow this side of Never-never land.
Just think of the total chaos that would happen is EVERY QMGR in a large network had to be updated at the same time.

Do you think that is realistic? Realistic in say a major bank with 500+ QMGRS all connected together and located in 50+ countries?

What are the results of the test you have run?

What does the documentation say about compatibility between versions?
