For the FileInput node, when the Failure / Catch terminals are not connected, any exception in the flow, results in the file going to the back-out folder. This helps the file monitoring team to know what has failed (as they look at the back-out folder)
Now another team, wants an email alert to be sent , in case a file is being moved to the back-out folder.
If we send an email by connecting to the Failure/Catch terminals, the FileInput treats this as a handled exception, and does not move the file to the backout folder..
Is there any way to do both? _________________ Regards |

At the end of the failure/catch path you need to throw a user exception... _________________ MQ & Broker admin |
