After an upgrade from MQSeries 6 to 7.0.1 (an interim part of an upgrade) we're experiencing problems with messages.
Clients connect via a web page though a Windows 2008 server to the AS400. Messages as being sent from through the windows server to the AS400, handled and responded to, but they are not getting back to the client, they stop at the windows server.
There are no error messages on either box, and all services appear to be running normally.
Has anyone experienced similar problems, or does anyone have any thoughts about what me might check?
Thank you! |

As we are not the psychic network, you need to be much more specific here...
What do you mean with the messages stop at the windows server?
They are available (you can browse the contents) on a queue but don't get picked up? What is the transaction setting of the calling program (WAS on windows?)

Verify timing and transactional settings. Make sure the request is sent outside of the transactional context of the reply. Make sure the process picking up the response is doing a receive with wait and set the timeout adequately.
Last and not least, make sure the response is in a queue that is local to the queue manager that the application is connected to... _________________ MQ & Broker admin

So the messages appear on the queue, but the client application isn't reading them? _________________ chmod -R ugo-wx / |
