Hi ,

We are migrating IIB9 to IIB10 and we figured out that the Integration Node can be tied to a remote queuemanager instead of installing the local queue manager . So lets say that I have a broker installed in server A and queue manager installed in server B ? How can I tie them ?

OR

IS it that Broker and MQmanager has to be installed in the same server and is it just that the MQmanager is no more a prerequisite to install a broker ?

You need to be slightly careful with your terms here. If you're talking about flow messages (MQInput node, MQOutput node, etc) then you specify the connection details on the node or you can (as with previous versions) leave the nodes to default to the queue manager associated with the broker.

If you're talking about messages in the internal sense (used by broker internally for it's own purposes) then this queue manager has to be on the same server as the broker but only if you're planning to use those features that require internal messages - see here. So there's no requirement to install a local queue manager in v10, and no requirement to have the queue manager at install time. But you might still need to.
