Hi every one..
I am using MQ version 6.
Name: WebSphere MQ
Version: 6.0.2.11
CMVC level: p600-211-110523
BuildType: IKAP - (Production)
My requirement is to browse the messages from a local queue and I am getting
AMQSBCG0 - starts here
**********************
MQOPEN - 'WC_ERROR'
MQGET 1, failed with CompCode:1 Reason:2080
MQCLOSE
Can some one help me to resolve this please.... |

And when you researched ReasonCode 2080, what does it mean?
The first 5 hits on google for 'mq reason 2080' offered solutions to this issue.

If you just want to browse a message and not have to worry about how big it is then you could try my SupportPac MA01. It has been 'withdrawn' since I left IBM but I believe it is still available at http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg24000647
You can browse a message with something like q -iWC_ERROR -df
