Hi,
I just installed MQ 8 in ubuntu virtual machine, then :

But at the end this is always empty :

Why are you running postcard? Are you following some instructions? What instructions? I ask because mq clusters is an advanced subject.

Postcard is part of the installation verification process. However you should be able to run it on a single server. No need for a cluster set up for postcard.

Where did you read that?

fjp_saper just posted that above, meaning that postcard is a verification process to determine IF your installation was correct. From what you posted, postcard failed; but that doesn't mean that your installation was incorrect - just that the postcard process didn't complete.
