dear Message broker experts , soon to be known as "IBM Integration bus" experts ;
Using Message Broker V7
I noticed that when you stop a message flow with a SapInput node , the RFCProgramId used by the message flow is still registred on SAP side .
SAP is still trying to send messages and get timeouts.
Only after stopping the message flow AND restarting the execution group SAP becomes aware nobody is listening and no messages are being send.
How can this be avoided ? I want the stopping of a message flow triggering the deregistration to SAP?
Is this behaviour still the case in V9 ?
Kind regards

So what happens when you test it? _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

Ah, I can't test on V9.
We don't have this installed yet.
It is just to see if this behaviour will be different with the new V9 version. |

Don't expect it to. You can always dump the adapter message into a queue. So if the downstream processing is not ready the queue will carry the interrim. Just shifting the problem from SAP to MQ... _________________ MQ & Broker admin |
