Hi,
You can use the SYSTEM.ADMIN.CHANNEL.EVENT queue for event monitoring, e.g.: get a event when a certain channel is started, stopped etc.
What can you use it for ?
You can write a program that issues commands based on the event, e.g. start the channel again if it was failing, warn the operations department.... You can do what ever you like with these messages....
There are a support pack (as I recall) or was it here(MQSeries.net) where there are a sample on how to use it.
just my $0.02 _________________ Regards, Jørgen
