We want to upgrade our operating system from Windows NT 4.0 server with service pack 6 to Windows 2000 server. We are currently running MQSeries 5.2, WMQI 2.1 and DB2 7.1.
We want to know if we should upgrade the operating system to Windows 2000 Standard Edition or Interprise Edition. And what are pros and cons in choosing either edition and are there any patches or fixes that we might need to apply.

Have a look at this url, which lists the supported platform for WMQI.

You should either install,
Microsoft Windows Professional Server or Advanced Server, with SP2
