Hi,
An error occurred during hand shake between SOAP Request from IIB and external web service. PFB the reference
Code: |
'javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: com.ibm.jsse2.util.j: PKIX path validation failed: java.security.cert.CertPathValidatorException: The certificate expired at Thu Sep 03 19:59:59 EDT 2015; internal cause is:
java.security.cert.CertificateExpiredException: NotAfter: Thu Sep 03 19:59:59 EDT 2015'
|
Just eager to know if this issue is something related to external web service end and not from IIB end. Am I correct?
Please share your opinions.
Thanks in advance |

Not easy to answer your question
Was that working before or is it the first time you are trying?
If this is the first time, did you setup SSL on broker side? Did you add the signer of the webservice to your broker trustStore
If I were you, I would not blame the other side until I confirm that my side is OK |

Not from what you've posted. It's as likely to be that it's the broker's certificate, or one of the certificates in the broker's trust store, that's expired as it is one of the external ones.
Check your local certificates. If none of them expired on the 3rd September, it's one of the certificates associated with the external service. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
