Hi all,
as the title says this is a very newbie question
my environment:
WMB 8.0.0.5 running on windows server
iSeries power 7 running ibm i 7.1
Requirement:
The message flow will receive a file , put the file in a pre-determined folder in iSeries and then run a iSeries program to consume that file.
questions:
What is this best "broker way" to put a file in iSeries ? The iSeries has a set of folders available to the "windows environment" , so it should be a matter of using a fileoutput node, but, is there any other options ? (I always like to understand and consider other options so i can choose the one that best suits the requirements)
Regarding the iSeries program execution , what is the "broker way" to start a iSeries program ? _________________ Best regards

I would say the broker's part of the transaction is over when it uses the FileOutputNode to send the file to the iSeries server.
You would need a process on the iSeries server that is looking for this file and then have it start the process. |
