We have upgraded some linux MQ from 701 to 7.5. We found out that when we want to load a Q on the 701 Qmgr using an unload file from the 75 Qmgr, we got error saying "Unrecognised attribute on line 12 ..."

qload -m MYQM -oTT -f /tmp/20150918.unl
QLOAD Program by Paul Clarke [ V1.6 Build:Jul 12 2008 ]
Unrecognised attribute on line 22 of file '/tmp/20150918.unl'
Where '/tmp/20150918.unl' is an unload file from a 75 Qmgr using dmpmqmsg or qload ( I am not sure if operation unload the q using the supportpac we downloaded or the dmpmqmsg that comes with the product 75)

Yes, I did. But thinking that more people can share if I post it in the forum. I ma sure that Paul will jump in if he sees something obviouse.

I also noticed that there are soem different in the file created using qload and the new dmpmqmsg
I think the older qload choked on the place where he see AIX instead of AID ( blank spaces instead of 20s)

well there are 2 places that look different
AID / AIX
AOD / AOX
And it looks like the X version has the field in HEX (0x20) is the space.

So what happens if you replace the AIX / AOX with their equivalent AID/AOD and try to upload?

QLOAD let's you choose whether you want certain fields to be output as characters or hex. I think the differences between the two files is essentially one has chosen one and one the other.

It's not clear why if fails to reload the message but if you want to send me the file at support@mqgem.com I can try it out here if you like.
