Hi All,
Iam implementin MQSI with SAP R3 Systems. say my SAP IDOC msgs is getting posted via MQSI from my Application which is running in Powerbuilder. Once the message has reached or posted succesfully in SAP, is there any way i can generate the COD to my application through MQSI.
Does mqsi has any options of COA/COD. i know i can generate COA/COD through my application. but i want to know is it possible in MQSI.
Please clarify me.
with regards

Hi gaussspg,
Thanks for you reply. but however you said "although you can also use MQSI to generate either of these messages based on the response received from the application (SAP in this case).
could you be please precise on this part.
I will try to set the MQMD properties in the QM and in MQSI.
thank you

Hi venkat,
Do you have Queue Manager at SAP box ? becos if its not there then i guess its difficult to set the COA/COD for traferring the IDOC succesfully to SAP .As lets say Your application sending MQ Messages from legacy system which travelling through Channel to MQ Queue at MQSI box, then according to your message follow this MQ Message might be getting formated/converting into IDOC and putting it into Q/RemoteQ (Which is Pointing to Other Queue Manager) of MQSI and since you are integrating the SAP with MQ/MQSI, i guess you must be using the MQ R/3 Link which will Pick up the IDOC from OUTQ at MQSI,(NOT THE REMOTEQ) and through RFC User the IDOC will passed to SAP.
Now Once the IDOC got generated and routed into OUTQ of MQSI here you can set the MQMD (ReplyToQ) for COA/COD option but i guess its not possible, if the MQ R/3 Link is picking generated IDOC from Q at MQSI
and passing to SAP.(becos you wanted to generate the Report when the IDOC succesfully passed to SAP)
if this the above senario then i guess you have to set when the MQSI formates MQ message into IDOC if you are converting the MQ Message into IDOC at MQSI and puts in Q. _________________ Thanks

HI vivek,
Yeah the scenario you explained is correct.
Our management has decided to do the COA/COD in the powerbuilder application itself. so we will have the COA/COD done in the application level.
Anyway thanks for your reply vivek.
