we are getting socket exception when we are interacting with one of the external systemby using HTTP request node .
when we restart the Integration node, the issue is getitng resolved. The same frame work is running in other environments where the issue is not occuring at the same time.
IIB is installed in the windows 2012 R2 OS in azure clound, the external system is differently hosted.
Logs :
A Web Service request has detected a SOCKET error whilst invoking a web service located at host &1, on port &2, on path &3. <URL Name> An error occurred whilst performing an SSL socket operation connect
IIB version : 10.0.0.3
TLS version : TLSV1.2
Node : Http request node.
OS version : windows 2012 R2
It is occurring randomly. we cannot reciprocate the same. |

Does the external service require you to use any specific SSL ciphers, I think if nothing is specified IIB will select random ones.
You could also try enabling JSSE trace on that environment and check it when it fails again, that should give more detail about the error.

Thanks for the reply, we have not mentioned any specific ssl ciphers.
As it is occurring randomly some times it takes a week or 15 days or even a month for the issue , is it fine if we put the trace ?
Does it impact any performance related issues. |

hi...you haven't mentioned the environment affected, won't recommend leaving JSSE trace turned on in Prod env as the file system will get exhausted...stderr/stdout files are not archived by default. |
