Hi All
May I know how to validate datatype of parameter(URL)
I will recieve URL parameter in MQRFH2 Header. I want to validate the datatype.

Ex: InputRoot.MQRFH2.parameter.name
here name is parameter and of type character

what does it mean "the data type"?

You want to validate that it is a character? Make sure that it only has valid characters.

Or you want to validate that it contains a properly formed URL?

Hi
I mean to say like I will get some set of parameters
they are of different type
for ex:
Name: Character
age: Integer
Married: Boolean

I jus wanto check whether the data/value comming in parameter in of particular datatype or not.
ie., as you said if character means it shud contain only char type
if boolean mean it shud contain only true or false

In ESQL do we have any predifined funcions which will serve my requirement. Or do I need to implicity check based on data?
