Hi Eeverbody,

I was trying to exploit a way to identify who had opened a queue.A command which displays the details of those applications and channels which are accessing the queues?
I know a command DISPLAY QSTATUS....but when i tried this command it gives an error.I am working on mainframes.can someone throw some light on this.

Thanks
Preeti

I thought that the DISPLAY QSTATUS command was added to the distributed qmgrs with MQ 5.3. I believe it existed on the mainframe before that.

Hi Bower...

Unfortunately it does'nt work on mainframe. When i crosschecked i found that it works only for midranges and not mainframes.

Hi there,

DISPLAY QSTATUS was introduced to MQSeries 5.2 on OS/390, but it don't display who have the queue open, this is enhanced with 5.3.

Just my $0.02
