Issue: when we are trying to create queue manager and broker in the NFS disk (To achive active/passive set up). queue manager creation is failed with the following error
AMQ7259: WebSphere MQ queue manager 'broker name' could not obtain data lock.
system details:
production server details:
server : windows server 2012 R2 Server
nfs client version: nfs v3
software installed mq v7.5 and IIB v9.0.0.3
Nfs server details:
server : windows server 2012 R2 Server
nfs client version: nfs v4
( As per the BM recomendation we have to have nfs v4.1 whichis compatible with MQ . now the issue nfs serverversion is v4 but latest nfs client version in windows is v3 . i feek like this is cousing the issue )
kindly suggest
Warm Regards,

Warm Regards,
Who told you it was O.K. to mix and match NFS versions?
move your server to the NFS4 version of the client.
Note that there are other possibilities in windows (CIF) ... _________________ MQ & Broker admin

or switch to iSCSI when using Windows. _________________ WMQ User since 1999

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions.
