Dear All,

Have any of you seen this error before. It happened last night on our production MQ system (Sun Solaris 2.8, MQ V5.2 CSD4) :

08/01/03  09:18:29 PM
AMQ9540: Commit failed.

EXPLANATION:
The program ended because return code 2195 was received when an attempt was
made to commit change to the resource managers.  The commit ID was
'AMQRMRSARIPEPM.RIPLPM.TCP   xx.xx.xx.xx      =8hÀ^E\220Õá'.
ACTION:
Tell the systems administrator.

This has just been 'solved'

It turned out to be a 'transitory' fault with the fiber connection to the EMC disk. Had the system not been busy it might not have been detected.
FYI it was found in the /var/adm/messages file.
