WE have Rational Team Concert (RTC) as a version control repository. I have been looking at the InforCenter and seem to be going around in circles. I was the Version Tag to show up for my builds. Is this an automated feature that can be implemented coming from RTC when building bar files? Has anyone done this with RTC.

Isn't there a variable in RTC that gets substituted in the source with the version number when you check out? Use it (in between $mqsi tags of course).

I tried a search on that. Could not find it. Let me go ask the RTC person supporting the project to see if he knows, Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
