Hi,
I am new here, I am a front end developer, but my manager want me to start learning MQ File Transfer, so I started installing IBM Websphere MQ File Transfer Edition 7.0.4.0 , I followed the steps until I essued this command :
[alotfi@itdsai-test-mb ~]$ runmqsc ISTP1MB
I got this :
-bash: /usr/bin/runmqsc: Permission denied
Can you please help me ?

At that version of the product only members of the mqm group can issue the command...
EDIT: And that version is due to life-expire in September this year.

what come after runmqsc :
Coordination Queue Manager
OR
Agent Queue Manager
?

And the Agent log file shows what?
EDIT: I'm assuming you did try actually starting it...
