Hi All,
I am having an issue with log4j properties not getting refreshed. I am using log4j logger to log to a file by using a Java Compute Node(JCN). Even though I am able to log messages, I cannot log to any different file/path except one file. In ideal case, a broker restart should reflect changes in properties file right ?
Initially, I started using the plugin node from IAM3 support pack, later used log4j functions from esql. Then I switched to using JCN for logging as most of the project code is written in Java(IBM Retail pack).
problem started when I wanted to log to multiple files and changed the file path in Log4j.properties(and BrokerLog.xml) file and the logger kept logging to previous file location even after restarts and other things.
Hope this is not too confusing , I need some help in understanding this situation. |

you'd need to set up a configurable service and pass the path to the log4j config file there.
But it might be easier to just switch to java.util.logging... _________________ MQ & Broker admin |
