Hi Fokes
I am getting the following error when starting the ConfigMgr, does any one have any ideas, as far as i am aware the system has not changed.
I guess this is something to do with the systems (WINNT) environment variables and Java, as far as I can tell the CLASSPATH is set right..
OS = WinNT
WMQI 2.1 CSD3
Java 1.3.1
DB2 for Databases

The database operation did not complete successfully. The exception text is: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: COM.ibm.db2.jdbc.app.DB2Driver, COM.ibm.db2.jdbc.app.DB2Driver.
This is an internal error. Contact your IBM support center.

Any error logged into Event Viewer?
Use mqsichangetrace command to enable trace on the Configuration Manager, then use mqsireadlog and mqsiformatlog command to read service trace after the error occurs. You may get additional info in the service trace. _________________ Kiran

Thanks for the reply.
I am having trouble understanding what it is I should be tracing..
I have tried the Configmgr and get nothing interesting for that. I notice in the manuals that you can trace the ControlCenter, but I have been unable to get the right set of parameters..
The NT event log has the same message as per the original one and no additional ones.
Many thanks |

Hmm Fixed it....
Not sure why, did the following:
Ended the Configmgr
Ended the MQ Queue Manager
Noticed on another install that the DB2 stuff as at the beginning of the Path and CLASSPATH statements. Cut and pasted the entries to the beginning.
Re booted the Machine
Started MQ, Started Configmgr, Started Control Center and all works....
