Hi All,
I have configured Oracle Data source for oracle 11g XE instance and getting exceptions while performing SQL operation and got the below exception for mqsicvp, please advice on the below, exception or any blog for setting up datasource in windows 8
Exception:
BIP8273I: The following datatypes and functions are not natively supported by da
tasource 'Local' using this ODBC driver: Unsupported datatypes: 'DATE, TIME, CLO
B, BLOB' Unsupported functions: 'ACOS, ASIN, ATAN, ATAN2, COT, DEGREES, RADIANS,
RAND, ROUND, POSITION, EXTRACT, CAST, COALESCE, NULLIF'
Examine the specific datatypes and functions not supported natively by this data
source using this ODBC driver.
When using these datatypes and functions within ESQL, the associated data proces
sing is done within IBM Integration Bus rather than being processed by the datab
ase provider. |

It is not an exception
see the 'I' on the end. This is an informational message
