If I upgrade a broker runtime software version from say IIB 9001 to IIB 9002 - do I have to run the mqsimigratecomponents command or not?
e.g. mqsimigratecomponents <broker> -t 9.0.0.2
It seems to work without doing this - just wondered if I needed to (or if it would be a good idea)? _________________ Well, I don't think there is any question about it. I've never had to do this within a version. YMMV _________________ WMQ User since 1999

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions. |

No, you only need to run mqsimigratecomponents between major version release (7.x->8.x, 8.x->9.x) etc.

You may have to run mqsichangebroker with the corresponding flag to take advantage of new features though .... _________________ MQ & Broker admin |
