I want to identity how many channels and queues can supported by Queue Manager created on Linux system. Example - Can Queue manager support 2000 server connection channels and 12000 queues on it if given the best system configuration and if yes ,what could be the system configuration. |

Exact capacity numbers are always hard to give it would depend on messages sizes, persistence, message rates, what else the machine was doing etc etc. However, 2,000 channels and 12,000 queues is easily within the capabilities of MQ. I would suspect that any modern system would be well capable of these numbers. _________________ Paul Clarke

As installed, MQ is provisioned for testing proof of concept. You must configure your installation to meet your specific requirements. System Admin documentation will guide you.
A qmgr can easily support thousands of queues and channels. _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.
