This is not a problem but pleasure...
We installed CSD03 for MQSI v2.0.1 and our slowest message flow is significantly faster now. This is a 'batch' with 12000+ messages.
Full working time (AIX, 1 CPU)
v2.0.1, CSD02: 6-7 hours
v2.0.1, CSD03: 60-70 minutes
Yesterday we are starting new box: AIX, 2 CPU and working time now:
v2.0.2, 15 minutes

We are just had a similar problem. We are running MQSI V2.0.1 AIX with CSD2. We have a message (MRM) which is 11,000+ records @ about 3.5 meg.
It took about 30 minutes to spit out the appropriate XML. We got that number down to about 2 minutes by just giving more structure the MRM, such that it matches a bit more closely the the XML heirarchy. I'll report my finding after installing CDSD03. |
