Hi all,
we are currently using WMB V.8.0.0.4 (planning to install fixpack 5 and latter IIB 9 or 10) and MQ 7.0.1.3
MQ 7.0.1 support will end by september 2015, and from my point of view the best option is upgrade MQ from 7.0.1.3 to MQ 8
The question here is:
this is a broker instalation (packs with MQ) , so, is there any kind of "special" MQ upgrade path ? or this is just an MQ installation with some additional things around it - Broker
In other words , is this a regular MQ upgrade or is there any special procedure as this is a MQ- Broker installation ? _________________ Best regards

But! you have to be aware of the changes to the Security model and how it MIGHT impact client connections.
It may not matter but unless you are aware of the changes (and have done a POC) then it will surely come and bite you hard in a place that you least expect it.

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions. |

There could also be issues for this with bindings connections.
But all of this is still part of doing a regular MQ upgrade to v8.
