When I run dmpmqcfg against client connection channel I see the below output with object type as blank. I tried Google but didnt find much info there.

could anyone help me out pls |

Why would you even be concerned about authority records for the client connection channel? The only things you might want to authorize are the server side channels. What does the authorization matrix say about client or server connection channels in the infocenter?? and with the latest version of runmqsc you can create the channel table in absence of a qmgr. How does that authorization setup work then?

Hi Vikki,
I believe you have discovered a defect in the MQ product. My colleague has just raised a defect to get this fixed internally, but if you would like it fixed in the service stream please raise a PMR.

Thanks alot Morag. I too thought it could be a defect but wanted to confirm if it so. We will raise a PMR for the same. |
