hi. in order to log the depth of a remote queue i wrote a simple c program using MQINQ

my program runs a on a WinXP workstation, the remote queue mananager v7.0 is running on AIX 6.1

it works fine but MQIA_CURRENT_Q_DEPTH returns the sum of both committed and uncommitted messages, i was asked to get the respective amounts

i have read IBM docs and checked older posts but i was not able to find a solution

any idea?

if not possible using MQINQ is there a way using PCF msg?

thank you in advance for any suggestion

Why? The number of uncommited messages can not only change at a monemt's notice, they count towards the maximum depth so can't be ignored. It's more important to know that there are uncommitted messages, because they shouldn't remain uncommitted for long.

Because it's not a problem anyone needs to solve.

They both do the same thing under the covers.
