Hi All,
I was trying to remove a queue manager in MQ 5.3 but not able to do it.
I have stopped the queue manager first, when I issued dltmqm I got a message stating queue manager is running.
When I issue dspmq, queue manager is showing as Ended Normally.I am confused why I was not able to delete the queue manager.
OS : Windows 2003 server 5.2
MQ : 5.3
I would be glad , any one can help me here. |

First, you need to explain what "not able to do it" means. Is your keyboard broken? Is your monitor broken, so you can't see the results of the commands you issued?
What did you try? What were the results? _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.

Did you end everything else that could be using the queue manager, including the listener? |

Are there any MQ queue manager processes still running on the server? Use taskmgr.exe, or command tasklist | findstr mq. Don't include amqsvc.exe (MQ Windows Service) or amqmtbrn.exe (System tray icon). _________________ Glenn |

Thanks every one for the replies.
I could have tried opening the command prompt normally , instead of right click --> run as ..
It worked, when I ran the command prompt normally. |
