Has anyone managed to get the GIT plugin ( 0.8 ) working in the version 7 toolkit? I can get the plugin working in the basic Eclipse 3.4.2 product, but not in the toolkit that is built on top of Eclipse 3.4.2.

It can be made to work but it is a bit hit and miss.
From memory, there are several bits to the download that can be installed.
Don't install the sources
Then just try indiviual bits until you get it to work. You don't need everything.
Make sure that you have the right version of Git for the Eclipse version that the TK uses. This can be a little difficult to find but it is there. _________________ WMQ User since 1999

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions.

Thanks smdavies99
I got the plugin working using version 0.8, but I'm now having authorisation issues with trying to clone a GIT respository, looks like an issue for the network guys -sigh-
