how to deploy it on unix without creating a bar file ???
Why? What is the advantage of not using a bar file? Why not (if you're that desperate) use the Toolkit to deploy it and have that generate a bar file for you?

i notice that my tool version is 8.0 and services has been add to 8.0.0.1 or so
so how can i update my tool
You update toolkit through the installation manager and the runtime (which should be at the same level as the toolkit) by applying the maintenance. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
Insanity is the best defence.
You can only deploy BAR files to a broker.
It will not accept any other format.
When an artefact is deployed using the drag and drop method shown in the video, the tooling will generate a BAR File to do this.
If you look at the explorer tree in the video then you will that there is a folder called:
Independent Resources
->GeneratedBARFiles.
You will find a BAR file in this folder that was created for the drag and drop deploy. _________________ Regards
