deploy command question

when I use cmp api for remote deploys I connect once to the qmgr/broker and do deploys to all the EGs

when I do the deploy on the server using mqsi deploy command without the connection information it deploys to local broker. what I am trying to see if how is the connection made in this scenario, is there a connection made for every bar mqsi deploy command that I would run. not quite clear on how this would work. Please share your thoughts on this. thanks.

Without connection information, admin is performed using a binding to the local queue manager like any other non-client WMQ application.
