Hi All

Queue Manager is 7.5 running on Centos VM
MQ Client 7.5 running on Windows VM
VM's are on the same machine.

QMGR IP is 192.168.162.132
Client is 192.168.162.134

Im sure Im missing something very basic here.

On My Queue Manager I have the following set
CHLAUTH(ENABLED)
AMQ8878: Display channel authentication record details.
CHLAUTH(TEST.SVRCONN) TYPE(ADDRESSMAP)
ADDRESS(10.220.216.19) USERSRC(CHANNEL)
AMQ8878: Display channel authentication record details.
CHLAUTH(SYSTEM.ADMIN.SVRCONN) TYPE(ADDRESSMAP)
ADDRESS(*) USERSRC(CHANNEL)
AMQ8878: Display channel authentication record details.
CHLAUTH(SYSTEM.*) TYPE(ADDRESSMAP)
ADDRESS(*) USERSRC(NOACCESS)
AMQ8878: Display channel authentication record details.
CHLAUTH(*) TYPE(BLOCKUSER)
USERLIST(*MQADMIN)

When using amqsputc from windows client I am having no problems at all. My assumption was that by setting the CHLAUTH(TEST.SVRCONN) ADDRESS(10.220.216.19) It would only allow connections in from a IP address of 10.220.216.19

Any advice is welcome

Thank you

I believe Morag's article covers how to do this -> https://www.ibm.com/developerworks/community/blogs/aimsupport/entry/chlauth_allow_some_privileged_admins?lang=en
