How do you keep getting this error? When you run some application, for example?

What results do you see from the display tpstatus and sbstatus commands?

Other than posting here, what have you tried?

I keep getting that error when I issue :-

delete sub subid command.

dis tpstatus will show there is 2 SUBCOUNT

dis tpstatus (xxxxx) type (sub)

show the two subid

I tried using MQ Explorer and RFHUtil , but no luck.

It is kind a little hard to go with bounce the QMGR due to the number of Apps which are using it . but if I don't have other choise , I will delete the topic and bounce the QMGR,
after that recreate the topic

Here is how I fixed it when I had it :-

1- DISPLAY SUB SUBID (xxxxxxxxxx) SUBTYPE (all)
2- Look at the DEST(xxxxxxx) ------> destination queue
3- DISPLAY QSTATUS( destination queue name ) TYPE ( HANDLE ) pid
4- issue kill -9 the pid number from step 3
5- delete the sub id now

Thats worked with me , hopfully it help you
