Hi,
I am working on following setup.
MQServer AIX , S/390.
JMS Server SUN.
JMS Client Unix,Win NT.
Data flow is like.
EBCDIC data from S/390 to AIX ( MQ).
When I receive data in JMS Client (Windows NT) it works fine. But when I run the same code in Unix systems it is not able to conver CR/LF chars.
The CR/LF is given as 156C in EBCDIC and should be translated to 0A0D in ASCII.
I tried putting CCSID 819, 850 on JMS Server but still the same results.
Does any one knows the solution of said problem. Feel free to ask any further question on eknathv@yahoo.co.uk
Thaks in advanced.
Regards,

Hello Eknath,
You might try looking at the "ConvEBCDICNewLine=" attribute which can be specified in the mqs.ini file.
I cannot give you a rock solid answer, but you may consider reading this attribute description in the systems administration guide.
I am interested in the result of your analysis.
