While converting timestamp from PCT to CST even though time changes the date is not getting changed.
If Timestamp is 26/09/2014 11:21PM then it has to be 27/09/2014 1:21AM but i am getting 26/09/2014 1:21AM.
Please help me. |

It would help greatly if we had some context, e.g. are you trying to do this on your wristwatch, your PC, etc. _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

How can we help if we don't know what you are doing that's not working? _________________ Peter Potkay

Just a possible scenario, if they use CAST() with ZZZ timezone, sometimes it can cause a problem:
"Using the zzz option can have ambiguous results. For example, BST can be interpreted as Bangladesh Standard Time or British Summer Time. For compatibility reasons, WebSphere® Message Broker uses the former interpretation.
To avoid these problems, use the zzzz option with a well-defined name; for example, Europe/London, Asia/Dhaka, or America/Los_Angeles."
