I have some questions about how the oracle connections will work in the odbc.ini file. Thanks in advance for your help.

Messge Broker 8 on zLinux
Oracle 11g(on servers remote to MB)

1. Is there any limit to the number of entries you can have in the AlternateServers property? (I am looking at using 5 with host, port and servcie listed)
2. Will it cycle thru each of the servers listed until it finds a good connection?
3. How long does it wait before moving on to the next connection?
4. does it only try once per Host - or does it retry a few times?
