Hello Folks ,

A quick one on Adapter packaging and deployment. We have quite a lot of SAP interfaces (inbound and outbound) planned on WMB 8.

When we configure an Adapter during discovery , a .IN adapter is created for inbound and .OUT for outbound.

What is the best practice when new IDOC inbound / Outbound get added. Is it to do "Iterative Discovery" , add a new IDOC and package it(we end up with one large module)

or

We create a separate module where we have a different .IN adapter (Modular design) , but adapters getting packaged for each module.

Are there any redbooks / IBM articles surrounding these. Any PROS and CONS

Help appreciated
BJ
